Students accepted to degree or certificate programs are required to take placements tests in order to ensure appropriate placement in classes. Allow 2 hours for completion of all four sections (English, Reading, Arithmetic and Algebra). If you are transferring in credits from another college, you should not schedule an appointment until you have received official notification from the Office of Admissions with your transfer evaluation. You may be exempt from testing.

A BCC Admissions representative will meet with career center clients to provide information regarding BCC’s programs and services as well as facilitate the admissions process. Students may be referred to the Admissions Counselor responsible for coordinating college enrollment with dislocated worker benefits (i.e. Section 30, Federal Trade programs, etc.) For information regarding benefit program eligibility or to schedule an appointment with a BCC Admissions Counselor, please contact the Fall River Career Center.

Visit Bristol Community College’s beautiful Fall River Campus. We have state-of-the-art classrooms, computer labs, a fitness center, television station, theatre, art gallery, and a scenic on-campus pond. Come learn about all of our academic programs and student support services. Check out all the opportunities you can find here! The tour will begin with an Admissions Information Session followed by an hour and twenty minute walking tour of the Campus. With On the Spot Workshops, BCC's admissions and financial aid teams make it easy to sign up for college. You will have the opportunity to complete the admissions application with the assistance of our admissions counselors and be on your way to enrolling in classes for Fall 2018. Financial aid counselors will also be available to help you complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). To complete the admissions application, you will need your official high school or state-approved high school equivalency transcripts. To complete the FAFSA for the Fall 2018 semester, please bring your 2016 tax documents to aid you in this process. Registration is encouraged, but not required. Walk-ins are welcome.

Applicants to BCC’s Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Occupational Therapy Assistant and Clinical Laboratory Science programs must attend one Health Science Information Session to be considered for admission. These sessions will cover academic requirements for admission consideration, testing, and answer your questions. It is strongly recommended that you attend a session if you apply for admission to Health Information Management, Central Sterile Processing Technician, Coding and Reimbursement Specialist, Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Technician, or Phlebotomy. Each session will be one hour and will begin promptly on time.
