Information for Students and Parents
All high school students are encouraged to explore BCC’s programs and plan early for academic and career goals. Regular Campus visits and information sessions are available through the admissions office. In addition to the CVTE opportunities for students in career and technical education programs, many early college programs and activities are available to all students, including earning early college credit through AP Courses and Dual Enrollment.
The Career and Vocational Technical Education (CVTE) Linkages Program (formerly Tech Prep) is geared toward students in qualifying Career and Technical Education Programs.
See the list of schools to find out if your school participates in the CVTE Linkages Program.
Opportunities for high school students eligible for the CVTE Linkages Program include earning college credit through Articulated Credit and early college placement testing. Other opportunities for students to get familiar with BCC and participate in career related events include Career Days and program related activities coordinated through the BCC CVTE Linkages Office in D200.
