President’s Volunteer Service Award for Students
If you have served a minimum of 100 hours of service over the past year, you may qualify for the national President’s Volunteer Service Award. In order to qualify, you must be either a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident who is over 18 years of age and service must have occurred between February 1st and January 31st. If you meet the service requirement, but not the age or citizenship requirement, you may qualify for the BCC Volunteer Service Award.
As a recipient you will receive a congratulatory letter from the President of the United States, Barack Obama, a lapel pin (bronze, silver, gold, or blue), and a certificate of appreciation. Please submit a completed President’s Volunteer Service Award for Students by March 15th of that year.
