Eligibility and Requirements
PATHHS is open to anyone who is unemployed, working part-time or full-time in a low paying and/or dead-end job and want to become a healthcare or human services professional; anyone who needs to brush up on academic skills to pursue college level work; or is currently employed as a healthcare or human services professional and want to advance their skills.
A High School diploma or GED is required for most programs. Participants must complete a PATHHS application packet and pass a criminal background check (CORI).
While not essential, a valid driver’s license in good standing is strongly recommended. Participants will also view a realistic job preview DVD which highlights the essential functions of Direct Support Professionals working with individuals that have developmental disabilities.
