Facilities Management is here to support the BCC community. Please refer to this brief description of the services we provide and who can best assist you.
Routine requests include moving or storing boxes and/or furniture, minor repairs, small carpentry jobs, etc. Please complete a Facilities Request for Services form and send it to the Facilities Management Department, c/o Philicia Pacheco, in F-100. These forms are available in Outlook (Public Folders) and from your building secretary. Philicia will pass the written request along to the appropriate supervisor.
In an emergency (such as a loss of electricity, a spill, water that cannot be shut off or urgent health & safety problems), call x.2533 during normal business hours and Campus Police (x. 2218) after 4 pm and on weekends.
If you experience non-emergency heating or cooling problems or minor water leaks, etc., contact Carl Anctil, Institutional Maintenance Foreman, at x.2355. Carl also supervises in-house construction projects. His staff provides nameplates and office furniture keys. If you need keys for offices and classrooms, you need to fill out a Key Request Form and submit, with the appropriate signatures to Campus Police.
Contact Laura Carlson, Director of Events Scheduling, at x.2599 or by email, to check the availability of College space for a meeting or event. Once space availability is determined, please complete a “Facilities Reservation Request” form, available in Outlook Public Folders, and submit it to the Events Scheduling Office in F112.
The Facilities Department maintains a small fleet of cars for faculty and staff to use for College business. Generally, the vehicles are for day trips only. The driver of the vehicle must be an employee of Bristol Community College and must possess and show a valid driver’s license. Click here for more information.
