Marianne
graduated from Pennsylvania State University where she received the
B.A. in English Literature. After teaching in the Newton, MA Public
Schools, she attended Boston College where she received the M.A. in
Counseling Psychology. At BC, Marianne worked as a Teaching Assistant in
the College of Education and also held a Graduate Assistantship at
Children’s Hospital where she conducted psychology assessment as part of
an interdisciplinary team at the Developmental Evaluation Center.
Prior to coming to BCC in 2005, Marianne worked as a Senior Project
Director at the Human Services Research Institute in Cambridge, MA
leading research, evaluation and demonstration activities throughout the
country.

Nancy joined the BCC Office of Grants Development in 2011 after consulting in strategic grants development for a number of non-profit organizations. Her experience in higher education includes heading offices of foundation and corporate relations at four private institutions (Wellesley College, Wheaton College, Brown University and Harvard School of Public Health) as well as serving as special assistant to the president at Wellesley. She graduated summa cum laude from Vassar College, earned her M.Ed. in human development at Harvard Graduate School of Education, and received an M.B.A. from Boston College. Nancy volunteers on the boards and several committees of the Tiverton Land Trust and New England Wild Flower Society.
Shelly Armstrong

Employed
by the college since July 2006 and a graduate of Bristol Community
College, Shelly received her A. A. in Business Management in 1987 and
received her B. S. in Business Management from University of
Massachusetts Dartmouth, graduating cum laude in 1990. She has
extensive experience providing secretarial and administrative support
services in religious, employment and training, and human service
organizations. Elected to BCC Alumni Association Board in March of 2006
she is actively involved in volunteering on campus and in her community.
