Perkins allocation funds shall be used for professional development activities for:

Technical teachers, academic teachers, administrators, school counselors who are involved in career and technical education programs
To cover effective integration and use of challenging academic and technical knowledge and skills
To cover effective teaching skills based on research that includes promising practices
To cover effective practices to improve parental and community involvement
To cover effective use of scientifically based research and data to improve instruction
All aspects of the industry Internship
Training teachers in the effective use and application of technology to improve instruction
