Year Five: 2012 - 2013

We are now approaching our final year of the Grant beginning October 1, 2012. The major objectives for Year Five are as follows:

1. Increase first-time students fall-to-fall retention rates from 67.8 % to 77.8% with the full implementation of Connected College services by 9/30/13
2. Increase academic advancement and mastery of critical thinking skills of first-year students from CCSSE 2007 Academic Challenge Benchmark Measure of 47.2 to 50 (above the benchmark score of 48.1 for the 2007 national CCSSE cohort) through college-wide practice of connected teaching and learning methods, and the effective implementation of student learning outcomes approach by 9/30/13
