Parking and Fines
Bristol Community College has twelve parking lots surrounding the campus with over 1800 spaces. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. To park legally on campus, your vehicle must be between two white lines.
There is absolutely no parking on grass anywhere on the campus. Illegally or improperly parked vehicles will receive parking Violation Notices which carry monetary fines. Monies received from the parking fines are deposited into a trust which is used to provide Financial Aid to BCC students.
Paying your fine
The violation notice may be returned by mail, personally, or by an authorized person to the BCC Student Financial Service's Office, G120, 777 Elsbree St, Fall River, MA. Failure to obey the notice within 21 days after the date of violation will result in an additional $5.00 penalty before registry action is taken. Then between sixty (60) and ninety (90) days from original issue, the unpaid ticket is sent to the Registry of Motor Vehicles is notified, additional penalties will be added as prescribed by law. Once it is filed at the Registry you will not be able to renew your license or register your vehicle until the fine is paid.
Handicap Parking spaces are available throughout the campus. You must have a valid placard or license plate issued by the Registry of Motor Vehicles visible at all times when utilizing these spaces.
