GED test taking tips
- Seek needed accommodations for testing well before you are ready to register; the approval process takes time.
- Schedule your tests when you are sure you are prepared.
- Don’t schedule more tests in a day than you can handle.
- Review necessary material the evening before you test.
- Get a good night’s sleep.
- Eat a healthy meal before leaving home.
- Arrive a little early to make sure you are on time and relaxed.
- Reassure yourself that you are ready for the exam.
- Listen carefully to all instructions.
- Pace yourself. Don’t spend too much time on any one question.
- Attempt to answer all questions. Blank answers are considered incorrect.
- And most importantly, JUST DO YOUR BEST!
