Noncredit Pharmacy Technician Certificate Program
The immediate need for Pharmacy Tech professionals is growing in hospitals, community pharmacies, and many other healthcare settings. Join this exciting field by taking the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board's (PTCB) exam. Course content includes pharmacy-related medical terminology, reading and interpreting prescriptions, and defining drugs by generic and brand names. This course will focus on the knowledge and skill needed to pass the National Certification exam as well as preparing the student for the competitive field of pharmacy technicians. There is a book required for this course that may be purchased at the bookstore. [10 weeks]
This program will be facilitated by Michelle Roseberry
Mrs. Roseberry has over 15 years of Pharmacy Tech experience in both retail and hospital settings.
Michelle, has been National Certified for over 10 years and has taught at BCC for the past 2 1⁄2 years.
