Bristol Community College completes six new business articulation agreements with UMass Dartmouth
Bristol Community College, under the leadership of Chairman Fernando Garcia of the Board of Trustees and President Jack Sbrega, along with Dean Bill Berardi and Department Chairperson Cecil Leonard, has completed six new business articulation agreements with UMass Dartmouth. The agreements allow BCC graduates in Accounting, Financial Management, General Management, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing programs the opportunity to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in a variety of different business majors at UMass Dartmouth.
All coursework included in the BCC associate degree will be accepted and applied toward required coursework for a B.S. degree in business at UMass Dartmouth. These agreements differ sharply from the existing Business Administration Transfer agreements as this is the first time that Umass Dartmouth has allowed for the transfer and acceptance of career type courses in the business department.
“The program allows students who begin at BCC to seamlessly continue their education without losing time,” said BCC Director of Transfer Affairs Eileen Shea.
Bristol Community College Transfer Affairs office provides transfer counseling and agreements to students who plan to continue their education at four-year colleges and universities. Resources and services include updated transfer and scholarship information, assistance with applications, and transcript reviews and consultations.
