Did you know that human development and poorly designed landscapes can damage the vital, natural ecosystems around us?

Get the training to do great work that’s environmentally friendly through BCC’s Sustainable Gardening Program.

Sustainable Gardening at BCC provides training in the design and maintenance of landscapes that are both enjoyable and sustainable. The program approaches landscapes at the ecosystem level, providing a foundation in soil management, water conservation, natural pest and disease control, appropriate selection of plants, and waste reduction. The specialty tracks dive deeper into topics including soils, compost, edible gardening, and ornamental horticulture.
