BCC eHealthCareers is a hybrid health science program offered at the BCC New Bedford Campus.
What does that mean?
Simply put, it means there are health science programs offered in New Bedford that allow students to do large portions of their learning in online classrooms with live training at the 800 Purchase Street building on the New Bedford Campus. Many students just don’t have the time or means to commit to several days per week in live-lectures on campus. This is especially true for the health sciences.
eHealth is a solution to this issue. Utilizing state-of-the-art online learning and the unparalleled lab spaces on the New Bedford Campus, students in eHealth programs get the same quality education that BCC is known for in a learning style that works for them and their busy lives.
Admission to some programs in eHealth is selective and has rigorous prerequisites, just like their traditional equivalents. Many students work on those prerequisites in eHealth through the General Studies Health Science degree program. Those who meet or exceed the admissions requirements for the selective programs at Bristol Community College are eligible for admission.
Applicants will follow the existing application and eligibility requirements established by the College and the specific programs being offered.
