Bristol Attleboro Newsletter - Summer 2018
Message from the Dean
In less than a month, we'll be starting a new academic year at Bristol Community College. We wanted to give you a peek into what's taken place here since the last edition of our newsletter (produced every fall, spring and summer). Over fifteen hundred associate degrees and certificates were awarded during the college's commencement activities in June. That included a student from Mansfield High School who received her high school diploma at the same time that she completed her associate's degree at Bristol Community College! By combining her high school and college course work, she'll be able to enter the University of Massachusetts Amherst next month as a college junior. Like this student, literally hundreds of Bristol CC students save thousands of dollars each year by transferring their course credits to baccalaureate granting institutions. We have a Transfer Counselor to guide that process for students.
It's absolutely not too late to enter Bristol Community College for this coming fall semester! Our Admissions Counselor and Financial Aid Counselor have been hosting a number of special combined workshops twice per week this summer, and that's in addition to their normal appointments. Further, our Academic Advisors continue to meet students during appointments as well as in walk-in settings. Contact us today! It will be our pleasure to assist students in realizing their educational goals.
