Student Life

How can you connect at Bristol Community College?

Bristol offers many different ways you can engage with your college education, make friends, meet new contacts, and help build your resume for transfer or career.

The most successful students are often the ones who take advantage of these resources and fully immerse themselves in their "college experience."

Athletics

Bristol Community College is a member of the National Junior College Athletics Association (NJCAA) Region XXI and competes in the Massachusetts Community College Athletics Conference (MCCAC). Sports offered at BCC include men's and women's basketball, soccer and co-ed tennis.

Fitness & Recreation Center

Our state-of-the-art Fitness and Recreation Center can be found in the Commonwealth College Center (G-Building) on the Fall River Campus. Drop by, get in a work out, or borrow sports equipment to use on our fields and courts.

Student Clubs

There's a club for everyone at BCC. From program-oriented clubs like Theatre, Dental Hygiene, Nursing and Occupational Therapy to recreational clubs like Video Games, Radio, and Dance...there's a ton of ways you can connect with students who share the same passions as you. Have another interest? We'll help you start a new club.

Student Governance

The BCC Student Senate is the student governmental body. They meet once a week to represent and addresses student concerns within the structure of the College governance. The Senate includes representatives from all three sites.

Observer

BCC's student-run newspaper, "The Observer," is a monthly publication by and for our student body. The Observer is always on the look-out for new writers, editors, photographers, or anybody who has an interest in getting involved in journalism.

Student Radio

BCC is home to an online radio station where you can try your hand at broadcasting. Located out of the Margaret L. Jackson Arts Center (H-Building), BCC radio lets students gain experience as talk-show hosts, radio DJ's, and on-air personalities.

Theatre Rep

Learn to take artistic risks in a safe environment and express yourself on and off the stage. Receive professional quality training, and be important part of our theatre company. BCC Theatre Rep performs four times a year on the mainstage and in Studio 777, a blackbox theatre.
